Nature Box at Rite Aid

Rite Aid has many beauty products you can choose from that are cruelty-free. In the beginning of this year they introduced an international brand to their stores.

Nature Box’s mission is

to spread positive vibes all around the globe, use specially selected natural ingredients and vegan formulas with responsible sourcing and beauty positivity.

You can read more about their ingredients here.

Nature Box also cooperates with international development organizations to help support small local farmers in sustainably cultivating raw materials.

Although Nature Box is cruelty-free it is however owned by Henkel, a company that continues to test on animals. This is where Henkel stand on animal testing:

We aim to answer all questions about the safety of our products and the ingredients we use without any animal testing.

Henkel only ever uses such tests if required by legal regulations or if no accepted alternative test methods are available for obtaining the necessary safety data. Unfortunately, however, it is not yet possible to avoid animal testing completely: This is because legally acceptable alternative test methods are not yet available for all safety aspects, and alternative test methods are not able to answer all questions relating to safety.

"It feels good knowing I do not condone in animal cruelty by choosing to go vegan. For our planet and the innocent animals killed every day. I hope this blog will help consumers understand and be more aware about the products they use." ~SelaVera
